The First World Festival of Negro Arts 1966

Official film of the festival, a gathering that laid crucial groundwork for pan-Africanist thinking. Directed by William Greaves, the prolific African American actor and filmmaker who left the US in the 1950s to train at the more liberal, welcoming National Film Board of Canada.

Arts '73

Arts '73, Arts '74 and Arts '75 was a Canadian television series which aired on CBC Television between March 8, 1973 and June 22, 1975. The show was hosted by Helen Hutchinson, Sol Littman and Pat Patterson Some of the featured people included painter A.Y. Jackson, radio producer Andrew Allan, painter Jack Chambers, film historian John Kobal, tapestry maker Tamara Jaworski and composer Marek Norman. Arts was a newsmagazine which featured items and guests from the subject of arts including visual, literary and performing arts in Canada and international.

Shaolin King of Martial Arts is a 2002 Chinese wuxia television series directed by Chang Hsin-yen, Liu Jiacheng, and Wu Chia-tai. It starred Wu Jing, Yaqi, Chunyu Shanshan, Gao Haiyan, Huang Yi, Yu Chenghui, Ji Chunhua, Yu Hai and Xu Xiangdong in the leading roles.

Arts Plus was a weekly Lifestyle programme showing the tradition and culture of India. It ran in 1996 on Star Plus. It had a total of 13 episodes which were telecast once a week.

Sunday Arts is a weekly program on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in Australia every Sunday. It gives a broad view of the various artists working in Australia today ranging from theatre, music, visual art, film, literature, to indigenous, cultural, and street art. It was hosted by Michael Veitch from 2006 until its cancellation in November 2009.

Breakfast with the Arts

Breakfast with the Arts is a television program that aired on A&E from 1991 until 2007. In its first decade the program focused on classical music, dance, opera, jazz, the visual arts, theater, and film. American television audiences first heard live performances and interviews with Juan Diego Florez, Deborah Voigt, Richard Bona, Michel Camillo, Janet McTeer, Pierre Laurent Aimard, and Susan Graham on Breakfast with the Arts. Other notable guests included Catherine Deneuve, Kenneth Branagh, Michael Caine, Vanessa Redgrave, Kirk Douglas, Yoko Ono, Plácido Domingo, Daniel Barenboim, Michael Tilson Thomas, Jeremy Irons, Kate Mulgrew, Audra McDonald, Uta Hagen, Arturo Sandoval, Dave Brubeck, Terence Blanchard, Ron Howard, and Robert Altman. Later the programming was broadened to include rock music. Guests included country musician Bonnie Raitt, rock band Los Lobos, pop artist Avril Lavigne, actress Lauren Bacall, and pop singer Natasha Bedingfield. The host for the first 12 years was Peabody Award winning broadcaster Elliott Forrest; later episodes were hosted by Karina Huber. TV personality Timberly Whitfield also served as a correspondent and interviewed celebrities for the program.

The Seven Lively Arts

The Seven Lively Arts is an American anthology series that aired on Sunday afternoons in 1957 on CBS television. The series was executive produced John Houseman, and hosted by New York Herald Tribune critic John Crosby. The title was taken from the influential book of same name written by the cultural critic Gilbert Seldes, in which he argued that the low arts deserved as much critical attention as the high arts. The eleven programs produced were—not in order: ⁕'The Revivalists' -- a profile of contemporary evangelism ⁕'Hollywood around the World' -- a profile of overseas film productions directed by Mel Ferrer ⁕'The Blast in Centralia #5' -- about a 1947 mine blast in Centralia, Illinois ⁕'Here is New York' -- an essay about the city written by E.B. White and narrated by E.G. Marshall. ⁕'A Few Folks And Their Songs' -- a program on folk music, hosted by Theodore Bikel ⁕'The Nutcracker' -- the first television production of Tchaikovsky's ballet ⁕'The World of Nick Adams' -- an adaptation combining five early Ernest Hemingway stories ⁕'Profile of a Composer' -- a profile of American composer and choralist Norman Dello Joio ⁕'Gold Rush' -- a ballet choreographed by Agnes de Mille

EGG, the Arts Show

EGG, the arts show was an American nonfiction television program that aired on PBS from 2000 to 2003. EGG documented both the famous and the unusual aspects and projects of classical and modern arts; its narrator was Elaine Stritch. Produced by WNET, Jeff Folmsbee served as Executive Producer. Mark Mannucci was series producer. EGG won a Peabody Award in 2002. Trio channel cable network has aired the series in reruns. Pat Rabdau worked as a producer and cameraman. The Lively Arts was a weekly half-hour CBC Television programme about arts and culture. It ran from October 1961 to June 1964. The show was composed of filmed and studio interviews, either produced by the CBC or purchased from the BBC and others.

Martial Arts Cooking Legend Bistro-Recipe is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Naoto Tsushima and serialized in Comic BonBon in 1999. It was adapted into an anime television series which aired on NHK BS-2 satellite channel from December 11, 2001 to June 25, 2002. In the United States the anime was dubbed by 4Kids Entertainment in cooperation with Enoki Films; Enoki Films held the license and contracted the dubbing to 4Kids. The anime premiered as Fighting Foodons and it aired on the FoxBox. The Chinese version was premiered as Kung Fu Snacks and it aired on TVB Jade in Hong Kong. It had also aired on Fairchild TV in Canada starting on May 22, 2005. Its English dub theme song is a remix and a redub of Jacques Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld.
