Jane Eyre is a 2006 television adaptation of Charlotte Brontë's 1847 novel of the same name. The story, which has been the subject of numerous television and film adaptations is based on the life of the eponymous orphan. This four-part BBC television drama serial adaptation was broadcast in the United Kingdom on BBC One. The mini-series garnered a critical acclaim and a number of prestigious nominations for its two stars and is considered to be the finest of all adaptations by a very large following of enthusiastic fans.

The Sarah Jane Adventures 2007

The Sarah Jane Adventures is a British science fiction television series, produced by BBC Cymru Wales for CBBC, created by Russell T Davies and starring Elisabeth Sladen. The programme is a spin-off of the long-running BBC science fiction programme Doctor Who and focuses on the adventures of Sarah Jane Smith, a middle-aged investigative journalist who, in her youth, had numerous adventures across time and space. The series debuted on BBC One with a 60-minute special, entitled "Invasion of the Bane", on 1 January 2007. A full series of ten 25-minute episodes followed, beginning on 24 September 2007. The first series consisted of five two-part stories, and a second series, comprising six two-part stories, began airing on 29 September 2008. A third series, once again comprising six two-part stories to make a total of twelve episodes, with Russell T Davies serving as executive producer, aired from 15 October 2009 to 20 November 2009. The fourth series aired from 11 October 2010. An episode of another spin-off series, Sarah Jane's Alien Files, was shown immediately after each of the first episodes of the stories. Filming for three of six two-part serials planned for the fifth series was completed prior to Elisabeth Sladen's death on 19 April 2011. Although some UK media, including the Sun, reported in early May 2011 that production of the series was to continue, the BBC has stated explicitly that no further episodes will be filmed. The fifth series was broadcast starting 3 October 2011 on Mondays and Tuesdays. It finished just two weeks later on 18 October 2011.

Jane is an early 1980s British animated military comedy television series. It was produced for two series, in 1982 and 1984. Set during World War II, it was created by Norman Pett as a comic strip in the Daily Mail in 1932. The animated series was produced in 10 minute episodes. The cast providing the voices including the likes of Glynis Barber, Bob Danvers Walker, Max Wall, Dean Allen, Robin Bailey, and Clive Mantle. Graham McCallum won BAFA Awards for Best Graphics in 1983 and 1985 for his work on the two series.

Jane Hall was a six-part British television comedy drama on ITV, written by Sally Wainwright and starring Sarah Smart, Stephen Mangan, Daniel Lapaine, Geraldine James, Nitin Ganatra, Gillian Taylforth, Ian Reddington, Ann Mitchell, Robert Glenister and Suzanna Hamilton. It revolved around Jane Hall's job training to be a bus driver and her home life in Hounslow, "the arsehole of London". The series was originally to be titled Jane Hall's Big Bad Bus Ride, but was renamed after the London bus bombings of 7 July 2005. It first aired in New Zealand in April 2006 on TV One achieving good viewing figures. It is produced by the independent Red Production Company, and was produced some two years before it eventually received its first UK broadcast in the summer of 2006. It was reported in September 2006 that no further episodes would be commissioned.

The series premiered on January 3, 2012, following Switched at Birth. On February 29, 2012, the series was given an 8-episode back order. It premiered in the summer on June 5, 2012 and ended on July 31, 2012. On August 17, 2012, ABC Family announced that the show was canceled.
