The Sky's the Limit was a United Kingdom game show first broadcast on 10 July 1970, being a travel-themed version of Double Your Money. The contestants had to answer questions based on their specialist subject, with every set of answers increasing their prize fund. In the first round, contestants answered questions increasing in value from £1 up to £100. They then had to answer a special question to qualify for the further rounds. Further rounds involved contestants being seated in a 'soundproof box'. After the first round questions contained subsequently more parts, so that on the final round the question was a five-part question - all parts had to be answered correctly in each round. Limit keeps her cybernetic powers a secret, as she fears being shunned by society. She keeps to herself, and sometimes keeps distance from others. Her secret is only known by her father and his assistants. In the final episode she reveals her secret to her teachers.

No Limits was a BBC2 pop music television programme that ran in four series from 1985 to 1987. It was created by Jonathan King as a British version of his series "Entertainment USA" and would usually go out in a teatime/early evening slot such as Tuesdays at 7pm. The show's logo was a roadsign with a red ring and a black dash. The show was presented in its first series by Jeremy Legg and Lisa Maxwell, and for the remaining three series by Tony Baker and Jenny Powell. The presenters regularly took part in stunts such as jetbiking. In its final season, in addition to Tony Baker and Jenny Powell, presenters were chosen from around the country to represent different regions. Terry Vaughan and Linda Huntley represented the Southeast region. Each week the show was set in a different town or location, and as well as pop videos, had its own specially made videos about that location and some things that the place was famous for. The show also had both UK and US chart countdowns. At its peak the series was the No1 rated show on BBC2 and touched 6 million weekly viewers, an incredible quantity at the time.
City Limits was a Canadian television series, which aired on Citytv and later MuchMusic in the 1980s. Airing on Fridays at midnight, and on Saturdays, the program aired alternative music videos. The program was originally hosted by Christopher Ward, and later by Kim Clarke Champniss and finally by Simon Evans. When the program was aired on CITY in the early 1980s, Mike Myers made several appearances, including performing as Wayne Campbell. After alternative rock's commercial breakthrough in the early 1990s, the series was cancelled and replaced by the daily series The Wedge.
